Life-Saving Station Museum
FREE PROGRAMS
Programs are free and held on the boardwalk starting at 10am. In a 15 year
tradition, programs are offered to educate locals and visitors alike about Ocean
City history and environment. The schedule is the same each week. Classes last
approximately 30 minutes. For additional information contact the museum at

MONDAYs
The Ocean City Beach Patrol teaches
life saving techniques, how to keep
safe on the beach and what types of
hazards exisit.

TUESDAYs
An indepth look at Ocean City History
with OCBC classes, Ocean City Before
Condos

WEDNESDAYs
The US Coast Guard Auxiliary teaches
about nautical knots.

THURSDAYs
All about sharks from their differences
from other fish to how they find and eat
their prey.
Thurs., the 24th of August will be
replaced with Birds of Prey. A special
presntation about raptor ecology and
will showcase 3hawks and 3 owls that
can not be released into the wild due
to injuries sustained in the wild.

FRIDAYs
Storm Warriors will teach about serving
in the US Life-Saving Service for
children 8-14. Afterwards children are
invited to come in the museum to
attempt to earn the Junior Surfman
certificate.

SATURDAYs
Take a look a marine wildlife and
visitors will be able to watch marine life
dine on a meal.
