Ocean City Maryland's Winterfest of Lights:
Nightly November 18th through Jan. 2nd
Hours of operation are 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays
Fridays and Saturdays, 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Northside Park 127th Street Bayside
Admission and Train ride is $4 for everyone 10 & over, free for those younger

Treat yourself to something special and take a ride on the Winterfest Express. Dazzling lights on winter nights put you in the holiday spirit. See your favorite summer place dressed in holiday finest. Drive the Avenue of Trees along Baltimore Avenue (15th - 32nd St.) on your way to Northside Park where you can board the Winterfest Tram to get a close look at the magnificent displays. A heated tent at Northside Park houses Santa for a photo, Yukon Cornelius Gift Shop and delicious goodies at the  OC Recreation Boosters cafe; hot chocolate stand. Small fee to ride tram.
 
It takes Ocean City workers 42 days to set up all of the displays.
 
Sixteen miles of wire and over 1 million holiday lights criss-crossing the 10-mile long beach power the displays, which cost the city more than $25,000 in electric bills.
