2010 WHITE MARLIN OPEN
Brian Roberts of Berlin, Md won the White Marlin open with a 97.5 pound White Marlin. The fish was caught on August 3rd aboard the Shelly II. Mr. Roberts earned $8,784.68 per pound, or $856,506 for this White Marlin. Congratulations Brian, a hometown winner.
More than 600 billfish were caught during the 5 day tournament. Other winners include James Kontos of Crested Butte, Colorado who caught a 1,010.5 pound Blue Marlin, and Trey Little of Rockport, Texas who caught a 77.5 pound Tuna.
