Girl Scouts provides supervised peer groups where girls can meet and make new friends while participating in activities designed to develop self-confidence, foster self-esteem and achieve the skills necessary to make wise life choices and to make the world a better place. Through the Cookie Program, Girl Scouts and their Troops develop a number of skills: goal setting, planning, marketing, budgeting, record-keeping, community relations and, most of all, a sense of responsibility and achievement. They can do whatever they want to do and be whatever they want to be!

The annual Cookie Program supports the work of providing Girl Scouting to girls on the Delmarva Peninsula. The Cookie Program helps fund Council’s operating budget, providing important services such as camp maintenance and programs, girl events and recognitions, program scholarships and group program support, and is also the main source of revenue for the Troops. The program funds services to girls and adult volunteers throughout the year and ensures that Girl Scouting will be available in the future.
