Ocean City Smoking Ban?
Ocean City, MD is considering a ban on smoking that would prohibit smoking on the beach and the boardwalk. The proposed ban will not be on the November ballot but is scheduled for a public hearing after the October 18th municipal elections.
Since Ocean City is mainly about tourism I suggest you contact the council president, Joseph A. Mitrecic, with your views on this subject. Because many visitors come from a state other than Maryland contacting Mr. Mitrecic may be your only chance to voice your opinion. For contact information about the Mayor and Town Council CLICK HERE.
